I love the consignment store on Kennedy called Baby Boomerang. Once upon a child sells new cribs - Baby Boomarang is straight consignment. Phone: ###-###-####. 2902 W Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33609.

Call them - they are great for giving answers or keeping an eye out for you and will call when they come in.

Good luck

If you want a basic, no-frills crib, then I'd try Kmart, Wal-mart, Target, or even Big Lots. There's a Comfy Kids consignment here on 56th St. (near Fowler Ave, Temple Terrace). Craigslist is also good. I'd even look on Amazon. Sometimes they have great deals, reviews of the products, and free shipping, on orders over $25. I've already picked out my future stroller on there, and I haven't even started trying for #2 yet...but will be soon, so I've been looking out for baby deals lately.

have you tried browsing thru craigslist? sometime they have stuff in there....I know that there are other consignments in our area-but once upon a child is the only one I know of

Do you (or does anyone?)want to buy mine? I have listed it on ebay & craigslist with no luck. I have lowered my price to $100...or best offer!! I was going to try Once Upon A Child next but would rather not drag it up there and have to set it up. Here are the details:

This is a beautiful crib in excellent, yet used, condition!

It is made by Simmons "Little Folks" and includes a Simmons Super Maxipedic mattress.

It has a one-handed open/close slide, which is very easy to operate.

It has the "sleigh-type" style in that the tops of the headboard & footboard curve up & out. It has open slats on all sides, the headboard & footboard are not solid. So, it is not a "girly" sleigh bed. In fact, I purchased it specifically for my son.

This is not a convertible bed.

Also included is:

A beautiful red crib skirt with multi-colored primary polka dots. This crib skirt was a special order from "House of Hatten" and is retired and impossible to find now...really try to search for it on the web!
A denim blue fitted sheet
3 matching denim blue valances (you could always put the extra 1 on the closet frame, as I did/do, or the bathroom/hall window!)
I would also be happy to include this cute decorative throw pillow with airplanes.
The crib is unassembled now and has all parts and is in excellent working order. The pictures do not do it justice...but my husband refuses to set it up, just to take it down again.

I buy everything on craigslist. If you don't find something then keep checking. They have new listings every day.

Good luck!

I have a crib I would be willing to give to you. It might be too dark but you may come check it out. Send me an e-mail if you are interested. ____@____.com

Craigs list is wonderful. Sometimes you can find new and barley used, also we got our last crib from Wal-mart. I think it was $100 for the crib and $50 for the matress. This one turns into a todler bed and then a twin size.
Good luck.

Have you checked out craigslist? www.craigslist.com Select your area and then check out the "baby" section. You can post a request for one or just do a search for "crib" within the baby section. Good Luck!
