Any suggestions for a baby carrier?? And where to get it? My daughter is 16 months old & almost 30 pounds, and I cant find one in the stores anywhere :/

What can I do next?

Love, Love, LOVE my Ergo! Wouldn't be without it. I can use it on my three year old (though I don't usually) and my 6 month old! My SIL also has, I think, a BECO, and she loves hers. Same concept.

Good luck!

Ergo baby carrier. Front or back carry - weight limit is pretty high and it's comfy!

Look at paxbaby.com. They sell a lot of great carriers. They also have a sling exchange program where you can try out a bunch of carriers and find ones that's right for you.

i like a Kokopax. It is a very slim backpack. it is great on hot summer days because there is a little breathing room between you and baby. but if you want a carrier for contact i would go with the ergo

I second PaxBaby.com! Great site to see all the different baby/toddler carriers. I have a BECO Butterfly and LOVE it w/ my 22lbs 13month old. : ) The ergo is great too, but it has more of a learning curve to do back carries. The Beco has a piece between you and babe, so you can start w/ them in front, and then flip to the back without taking them out. (and you can do it by yourself, no help needed) But some people don't like fabric between them and their baby, so they prefer an ergo. But there are alot of other SSCs other than the BECO and ERGO on PaxBaby. It all depends on your preference. The sling exchange is a great idea to figure out which one best fits you and your babe.

I really like the baby K'Tan. Very cozy and comfortable, but I haven't used it for a toddler before, only a baby...
