Baby Boy Names? - Tulsa,OK

I'm stuck, I have a name I love for our second son coming in April, my hubby is OK with it, but not ready to commit. I'd like his name to start with a vowel and like fairly traditional names. Any ideas? I've looked at so many lists my eyes are starting to cross! With our first son, we both loved the name we chose and it was easy.

ETA: My son's name is Ethan. The name I really like is Oliver, I thought they went well together but want some other options to pitch to hubby.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for the ideas so far! I liked Owen, but it got vetoed by my husband. Apparently he knew an Owen and it ruined the name for him. Mamazita, my husband's name is Eric and his brother is Evan, so those names do go well but are already taken!

I like Eric or Evan. I know those are similar to your oldest's name but I actually think that's kind of cute!

Can you tell us your son's name? There are so many styles out there, you'll get better suggestions if we can match your style.

ETA. Ethan and Oliver sound wonderful together! And Oliver is a fantastic name. I'd honestly just go with that, but if you want an alternative, what about Alastair?

I like Oliver, it is a little old but still cute for a little boy. But for me, I think you will know when it is the right name because once you say it out loud and think on it for a day or so it will just feel so right you could not imagine calling the child anything else. Do you feel that way about Oliver? Why are you set on the vowel first thing? You do not say if there is a name your husband prefers or if he is simply not set on yours? Just keep throwing ideas out there and eventually something will feel just right.

I personally like Matthew James or Matthew Charles but those don't start w/ a vowel.

How about Andrew, Anthony, or Aidan/Aiden? Evan, Eric/Erik, or Elliott? Issaac, Isiah, or Ian?

Just read that Eric and Evan are taken but honestly, you could still use one of those with a different middle name or in the case of your hubby adding a Jr. or II. Or you could utilize a different first name and use one of them for the middle name.

Honestly, I don't care for the name Oliver.

My friend has two sons names Ethan and Owen. How about that? I think they sound great together, and Owen starts with the same vowel and letter as Oliver.
