Me and my family are members of Christ Community Church in Carmichael. They have great programs for children on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. My daughter has formed great friendships with her peers, as have we with parents.

Well, I see that you live in Antelope but there is a fairly large and successful Awana group that takes place at the First Baptist Church across the street from our home in West Sacramento. It's a very active and fun group and I plan on putting my son into the group as soon as he's old enough! Good luck in finding a group and God Bless! J. :)

First Baptist Church at 4401 San Juan Ave in Fair Oaks has children's choir on Wednesday evenings, and AWANA's on Sunday Evenings. If you would like more information you may contact them at ###-###-####.

My good friend, also a homeshooler, takes her children to AWANA's in the Antelope area. It's at a church on the corner of Walerga and PFE, it's called Antelope Springs Church. I know she and the kids both love it!

I sent you a private message with a contact name but also wanted to tell everyone that Bayside Churches have a link to AWANA and you can join anytime and wonderful Children's ministry. They also have a special needs minitstry called Through the Roof.
Several Churches in the Area offer Vacation Bible School in the summer.

AWANA is a GREAT program! My three kids absolutely LOVE it! THey have made many friends and look forward to going each week! They enjoy going thru their books and learning the verses. The leaders follow a somewhat structured schedule...they have book time(they get to practice verses in class), and game time, and green meadow time(when they sing worship songs). It's so great!

In Auburn there are 2 churches that I know of that currently do AWANA'S. One does it on Sunday night, and the other on Wednesday night.

You can probably find one in your area by google.
