We used to walk there from our house (before we moved) They were great and honest and would always try to give us the best deal - by looking for used parts if they could...they let us know what everything cost specifically. We could trust them. Tell them Doug and A. McKenzie sent you. It always helps to state being referred by someone. We gave them a lot of business.

I would find out if there is a Collex Collision Shop near you. I found they do good work and they gaurentee their work.

Northern Auto on Woodward at 11 mile are great. It has been acclaimed by cartalk radio as well as two people I personally know. They are honest people with fair prices. I don't know if they do body work though.

I've used Auger's Auto Body in Clawson before. They are on Rochester Road between 13 & 14 Mile.

I have used Auto Metrix on Main Street in Downtown RO twice and other family members have gone there as well. They do a GREAT job and return your car meticulously clean.

There is a Maaco that has done nice work Northend and Wyoming in Ferndale/Royal Oak Township. I would definitely recommend AGAINST going to Northend Collision on Northend and Meyers.

There is no better in the state or region perhaps than Auto Metrics. Unfortunately I have used them 2x - once on my mercedes and then my yukon. better than new and excellent customer service. I used Pontiac as it has the foreign body shop, but I have heard Royal Oak is equally great. Most car clubs if not all use them exclusively.
