Assembling Elliptical Machine

Just bought an elliptical machine. Do you know anyone that can put it together inexpensively? I called the store I bought it from and they are charging almost as much as the machine itself to assemble. Any recommendations?

What can I do next?

YOU CAN DO IT! I suprised myself and did it myself ...just focused on the directions, it felt pretty good, knowing that I accomplished this and not my husband. He usually does things like this, but wanted to wait...but I am pretty headstrong and wanted to use it immediately. Everytime I get on that thing I feel extra good about myself. Maybe this year is the year that you stretch yourself and learn NEW things that you thought you could never do. Cmon girl...try!

My husband said he would do ir for $100. He put mine together at Christmas

Where do you live. I view these and am in Amarillo. The ellipticals can be tricky I put mine together and had one heck of a time and I am very mechanically inclined.

Have you tried putting it together yourself? They come with pretty good instructions. I put my treadmill together myself. Of course, I know 1 and 4 year-old girls would be a BIG help ... maybe at naptime??

Do you have a church family? You might ask if one of the youth is interested in putting it together for X amount of money. They are usually interested in any amount of money and are typically pretty good at this kind of stuff.

www.assembliesdoneright.com Great Local Assembly company that services the DFW metroplex and does any kind of assembly you can think of...treadmills, bikes and elliptical are their specialties. They even guarantee their work for one year at great prices. Check them out!!!

I had that problem when moving my home gym from an upstairs room to the garage and had no idea how to disasseble or reassemble. I called a handyman who was wonderful and he only charged me by the hour but they do this kind of stuff and since I am sure you have the manual it would be that much easier. I hope this helps.

Craigslist.org might be a good place to find a "handyman" or "honey-do" person. Look for someone that works for themselves and possibly retired that just needs the extra cash. But for somebody to come to your house, and spend a couple of hours, I'd expect around $100. That's what I would charge if I did it.
