My daughter seems to be really interested in art, arts and crafts, etc. I would love to find a class for her on the weekends. Any and all suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Lil Street art center is a large facility that has arts, crafts, pottery, etc...for both adults and children. Their programs are wonderful and there is a ton of variety. Registration for spring is going on right now and I believe classes start next week. They are located at at the corner of Montrose and Ravenswood.

In Evanston there is the Evanston Art Center (Sheridan Rd). There is also the art classes at Noyes Cultural Center and Open Studio Project in downtown Evanston.
Not sure where you live but check out your park district or local junior colleges. I know Wright College had something a couple of years ago and Morton in Cicero has kids classes on the weekends.
Have you tried Michael's or Joann's stores, they have events going on for kids to do arts and crafts
