Are You Watching Basketball?
I am new to the sport and starting to enjoy it. I was excited to watch on Christmas with the delay of the season due to the negotiations. I hate that LA traded Lamar Odom and I am willing the Dallas Mavericks to go head to head with the Lakers, and see Odom come out on top.

To Tracy K: I am with you, I go with the under dogs as well. I actually could be a friend of Khloe K Odom, I think she is the more balanced one in the family and I love how she supports her hubby! (outside looking in of course).

I know my beloved Mavs will come together. They have essentially a brand new team, and had 2 seconds to bring it all together. I still have hope!! I've been a Mavs fan since I was born, why would I give up now? I love that the new guy plays so hard he puked all over the place. That's the kind of players we want!!
Down with the Heat...again!!! They still stand for everything I"m against in sports. I HATE the Lakers, but I'm thankful for Odom!!! They did us a favor there.

Well......I'm a Mavs fan. Huge Dirk fan, as a German and as somebody living in Dallas! I try to make as many games as I can.
We hated having to wait to have the banner hoisted. This lockout robbed us of half our championship year.
I am glad we got Lamar but not too happy about the Kardashian sideshow that's come to town with him. That sideshow belongs in LA. I am not necessarily a Laker hater. Kobe is phenominal, but it's hard to root for those Hollywood prima donnas. I like the underdogs.
That's why I like the Mavs so much. They should never have won. They were all too old, too short, washed up, not what a championship team look like. But they work hard and are humble good guys. It's great to see the good guys on top.

I'm glad that you are enjoying the game. I do not like basketball at all. I would rather watch paint dry than basketball!

I am so with you on the L. Odom thing. I am so mad LA traded him plus they didn't get anyone worth anything in the trade. I have a feeling this is going to be a not so good year for LA. So with that said Dallas would most likely win that game.
