Anyone Who Has Experience with Dr.Ticho?

I am sorry I do not have first hand experience, but I am a nurse and a friend at work is taking her 2-year-old daughter to Dr Ticho. She has been very happy with him. She was originally reffered to his partner by a friend, but he was very busy so saw Dr Ticho instead. She says he is very knowledgeable and good with children. Even though her daughter's condition led to surgery after a few more conservative treatments, she still says she has had a wonderful experience with him. Based on her experience, and knowing how protective she is of her children, I would take my kids to him if I needed those types of services.

Dr. Ticho met with my son 12 yr old son last year. He is very low key and patient. I thought of him quite well. I have also ran into other mother's of special needs children who also states that he is well known and that she likes him herself. I hope this helps.

Sorry - I have never heard of him. My pediatrician referred me to a Peds Ophthalmologist in Hinsdale - Dr. Lise Guay-Bhatia with Larson Eye Clinic ###-###-####). My daughter had a blocked tear duct and she had surgery, etc... I would highly recommend Dr. Guay-Bhatia.
