Anyone Try Similac Sensitive R.S., Good or Bad????
We have a gassy baby with reflux. The Enfamil A.R. with prevacid helps a ton with the reflux but she gets more irritable with the A.R. versus the Gentlease or Alimentum that we have tried. The problem with those formulas are that they are too thin and she refuses the bottle due to reflux. Has anyone tried the Similac Sensitive R.S.? Did it help? Worried about the corn syrup as a main ingredient? We are just sick of switching formulas but would do it if it would help her.

Hi J.,
I haven't personally used the Sensitive R.S. because my little girl did not do well on any similac formulas but Gentlease with prevacid worked great for us. My friends baby boy sounds a lot like yours. Nothing worked for him, he was always gassy, irritable and wouldnt eat. They started him on Enfamil Nutramigen about a month ago and he is a completely different baby! He has started gaining weight, never cries and eats so much more now. I would suggest to try that formula. It is a bit pricey and you may have to order it online but it has been so worth it for my friends little boy. Hope this helps!
Good luck!

We liked the similac R.S. and it helped IMMENSELY, BUT, we had been using the Similac with the extra help for the Immunity, so switching my son's immunity system dropped a little and he got sick.

We tried it and it worked great, but we soon switched to parents choice r.s. because of the cost. Now we use regular formula with two scoops of rice cereal, it thickens it to prevent her reflux and seems to work about the same. So if the Gentlease is better for your little one's gas ask your doctor about adding rice cereal to it to thicken it up.
