Anyone's Been on Royal Carribbean Legend of the Seas Cruise?

Hi all! We may be going on the 7 night cruise excursion to the western carribean (belize, cozumel mexico, port maya) in November. Has anyone been on this particular cruise line with a 1 year old? We are contemplating whether we should bring her or leave her with my parents.

I know there are activities for teens and kids, but is there much to do with a 1 yr old? She's not walking yet. I would love to hear your experiences and input.

What can I do next?

I have been on that cruise as well as three others and I would have to agree with all the other responses and HIGHLY recommend leaving her with your parents. There is so much to do on a cruise but I think you will find that you will not be able to participate in much if you have a baby with you. I have a one year old as well and I would not bring her on a cruise - especially that particular cruise line since it is geared for adults. in fact, you may feel very out of place with a child.

Have a good time!

Hi,
We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise for our honeymoon 6 years ago. THE BEST CRUISE LINE THERE IS! You'll have lots of fun and most of the real fun is late at night. I would suggest leaving the baby with your parents. You're traveling in Nov when most kids should be in school. That is awesome! Our cruise was in the summer and there were too many kids, teens on the boat! Teens were even in the 12am-3am dance club. Take advantage of the time to get away alone at the best time of the year to cruise!

Hi Neena - We were on the Enchantment of the Seas a couple years ago. RC is a great line. I would recommend leaving your 1 year old home. It's reall more of an adult environment. Nothing wrong with a little time to be adults and not M. and dad in my opinion. Have a great time!

I have not been on this cruise line, but I have heard it is the best one to take. I would recommend leaving your daughter with your parents.

I just recently went on a 7 day cruise with my 3 year old daughter and 18 month old nephew. They do not allow anyone not potty trained in the pools or in the kids club, so we had to take turns watching the 18 month old, and it was very difficult when it came to dining and excursions lugging all the necessary items. While it was nice to have all the kids there it became a bit of a hassle as well.
