Anyone Know of Fabulous Tres Leches?
I am looking for a bakery that has a great tres leches cake! Any ideas? I have looked online and I don't have the energy to go to the Valley. Please tell me where to go and THANKS!
So What Happened?™
I am putting Porto's on my list as I have had several suggestions and I ahve heard they have desserts to die for!
I am going to try Candle Light Bakery in Norwalk-i it is the least amount of driving and I will see how it goes.
Our Von's and Pavilions ( I used to work there years ago) will not make it. I know some areas do-but ours no luck!
There were also some great suggestions of cafes I have put Cafe Contigo on my list- I told my hubby about it and he said "why isn't anything ever close/" we are always driving to find great food places but nothing is close. Too many commercial eateries in my city.
I am so thankful for all of the responses and I have written down many-for future!
Thanks to all the Mama's!

I agree, VONS has very good tres leches cake! They sell it by the piece and by the whole cake. Enjoy!

Sometimes Costco has them. You might be able to request it.

The first thing is where you live? But if that is to much info to give out then the best place is your mexican bakeries. And no you don't have to drive to the Valley.

Porto's Bakery in glendale has the best tres leches cake. In the south bay you can also get it at Misto's. It's pretty good.

I really like Gigante's tres leches cakes. They put in a custard filling and their frosting is made with whipped cream and it's not too sweet. Northgate's tres leches is pretty good too but I like Gigante's better. Most hispanic supermarkets carry tres leches cakes and a lot of the time you can buy it by the slice to try it out. Good Luck!!
