Try vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owner). It shows condos that are rented out for a weekend or a week or a month, whatever you need. It would be easier that being in a hotel with a small child.

I have a week long stay available for several hotels and timeshares in SFO, of course fully furnished with kitchen and most amenities. I live in Alameda and most likely won't use this - our baby is due in 25 days.
