I've been trying to get my two year old active and get him out of the house to be interactive with other kids. I heard of ECFE and from my understanding its like a class once a week that he can go to almost like preschool is that correct? I need a bit more information i think before i sign him up and pay the fees. thanks.

What can I do next?

My son and I attend the ECFE programs in Roseville. They have been wonderful. At your son's age they usually have you in the room for part of the time and then you attend a parenting group for the last hour or so. My son is now 3.5 and attends the 3-4 year ECFE preschool (2 days a week...the 1st day each week I am in the room with him and then go to parenting class twice a month, the 2nd day each week I just drop him off). I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend the ECFE program. My son has been attending the program in Woodbury/Cottage Grove since he was about 10 months old. The classes are 1 day a week, you can do parent child classes where you leave for part of the time or classes where you are present the entire time.
My mom watches my boys and I signed him up for the ECFE program to get him interaction with other kids and to help him separate. It has been great for both.
He is signed up for pre-school classes for next year as he has now turned 3. The great thing about ECFE is that the structure is the same when they start pre-school (if you sign him up in the district).
I hope this helps! Good Luck.

Hi K., if ECFE doesn't meet your needs, check into MOMS Club - or in addition to. My boys (1, 3) just love it when we get together with their (our) friends!
Part-time work, and work-at-home moms are welcome too.
Meet with us over coffee, park play, playgroups, field trips, and community service are just a few of our activities, there's even a MOMS Night Out! Join us for all or join us for some activities, there are so many to choose from.
