Hi, To fix this piece, do not use super glue or hot glue. You want something that will "bond" with the surfaces and not create a bump at the seam. I use a product called "Weldbond", NAYY. You can get it at Home Depot. It is a white glue that takes hold fairly quickly and you can just hold it in place. You can also wipe away any excess while it is wet. A sold dry bond takes hold within a few hours. Good luck! Nana

I have a Precious Moments piece that was knocked over and broken and I used regular hot glue from a gun to fix it wonderfully. It obviously only takes a few seconds to harden so you don't have to figure out how to keep it stable for hours. Also, I'm sure super glue would work fine if it is a clean break as you described - also a very short wait time.

Well, I am a 58 year old starting over too. I am raising a 9 year old granddaughter and she is a joy. Because of her I now have a day care at home and it is growing and I am the happiest I have been in the last 6 years. Hang in there. Kids need rescued here and there and it just shows our lives mean more when we share.
