Anyone Gotten Pregnant from Frozen Embryo Transfer?
I am going through the process of prepping my body for a frozen embryo transfer. We already tried once and had no luck. Just wondering if anyone has anything positive to say about their experience. I am worried that the odds are so low to get pregnant this way. I need some positive input.
So What Happened?™
Hi everyone.
I just wanted to say thank you so very much for all the responses so far. I truly feel that I have a better chance now because I am in a better mental place. All the supportive feedback was/is so helpful. Hearing all the stories makes me feel less alone and way more positive.
I will find out later this week when my transfer is scheduled and I will keep you all up to date as to how things go. You are all so great for taking the time to help me. Thank you so much!
~K.

I have a friend that has 3 kids and she never cared them she had her sister carry the first twins and they were frozen and five years later she had the last of her 3 eggs implanted into someone else a son out of that one. She also had a sister that had the same thing and got twins out of it.
Good luck sorry I was not more helpful but at least you know its possible even five years later.

I have had a couple of friends get pregnant and successfully had a child with frozen embryos. Just stay positive, and try not to worry. If it's meant to be, it will happen. Good luck!

I am currently 19 weeks pregnant with a baby from a frozen cycle. It was a long shot as we only had 1 frozen embryo. My now 2 year old daughter was the only 'survivor' of the 2 embryos transferred during the 'fresh' cycle. Based on the 50/50 odds after the 'fresh' transfer, our hopes were not very high for this single frozen embryo. It had been frozen for 2.5 years. I realize that we may have been very lucky but you should try to keep a positive attitude about the process. My IVF clinic believes it's as much of a mental issue as it is a physical one! Relax and Good luck!

Dear K. G--I can give you some positive input- My friend and neighbor got pregnant three years ago from her frozen embryo transfer- It took three trys and her odds were not good- but on the third try she became pregnant and carried TWINS almost to term.
Another friend of mine also became pregnant by the same method almost two years ago (at 41) and has an absolute angel beauty little girl- The gift of life- so amazing- If it is meant to be and you are determined and have the resources- keep on trying- My friends did and they hardly remember the trouble it was- because now they have the beautiful little troubles that ARE.
I am a 45 year old mom of a beautiful Down Syndrome girl named Ruby who is now 14 years old---- Special needs do require some strengths on our part - But she too is an angel and I wouldn't trade her for the world.--Some of my friends feel you shouldn't mess with mother nature- but I do not think that is what this is- I think if the technology can help us -we should use it- and I think if I had known I was carrying a down syndrome girl I would have thought it was the worst thing in the world- but it isn't- and her little spirit has given so many people joy and taught so many of us so much- so- It is possible- anything is possible- If there is a little spirit looking for you- then your efforts will connect with it and it could happen. Good Luck- J.

K.,
I am currently looking at my 3 month old twin boys concieved using frozen embryos. I had no luck with the the fresh cycle and first frozen cycle from this batch. It was the last frozen transfer from the same batch that produced these boys.
