No snow C....a Nor'easter just means that the storm system is coming form the north and east, when most systems come in from the west. They tend to rotate in a holding pattern over New England/the northeast, pick up a lot of precipitation from the ocean and then dump it in a steady stream. I'm not looking forward to 3 inches of rain, but I guess it's better than snow (although I might think differently if my basement floods).

We're suppose to get 3" of rain.
And the farmers are hoping for it since we're about 5" short so far for the year.
It'll drop to 47 tonight (after the 84 we had yesterday) and the huge drop in pressure has my head aching.
April showers bring May flowers!

A "Noreaster" is only indicitive of the location not the type of weather expected. It's just going to be lots of rain. If you go to NOAA.gov and type in Morrisville, PA you will find exactly what type of weather your area is going to be getting. Your temps aren't even supposed to drop too much.

Supposed to pour today. The weatherman says up to 2" of rain and winds of 40 mph but so far we're not seeing anything. I'm hoping for rain to get the pollen out of the air- my daughter's allergies have been insane lately.

at this time of year i'm usually moaning and kvetching about being up to my a$$ in mud. everything is still green but between the complete absence of snow this winter and the dry, dry spring, it does not bode well for our local farms (and my well.) i hope some of your noreaster dips south!

Nah, just rain. Might get a dusting of snow in the higher elevations. We REALLY need the rain, which is unusual for us in the NE.

I live in Morrisville too and we are just supposed to get a lot of rain, about 3 inches. If you live next to Williamson Park, and the river, you should prepare for flooding as it always floods really bad in that area.

Pittsburgh. We're supposed to get 1-2" of snow tonight and 3-5" of snow tomorrow. NO NO NO NO.

We're suppose to get 10 inches of snow by the Lake and more, like 14 inches, south of I-90. I'll believe it when I see it. The Lake didn't even freeze this year, I bet it just rains.
In any case, we who live in Erie just *yawn* at a forecast like this. It's nothing new, and we had an awesome winter, so we don't complain about a little snow in April after a warm winter.

Wish I could post a photo 'cause the pretty pink flowers on our crab apple trees are just about completely covered with the fluffy white stuff and huge flakes are falling from the sky. I tell people every year that Erie gets one good snow after St. Patrick's Day but even I didn't expect it to come this late into April... what a crazy winter and spring!
