I have a wooden one from Walmart and I like it. The chairs are pretty sturdy, as long as you put them together correctly and tighten the bolts really well. For $150 bucks, it's done very well for me over the past 6 years.

I can't imagine the quality would be that great. Iron would be but I wouldn't trust if wood.

i got a table from walmart the chairs are iron and the table legs are iron with a wood table top. It's great, we like it just fine plus I've had to stand on the chairs many times to see in the high cupboards, didn't collapse. I'm not the skinniest. :) anyhow it's great going strong after 2 years already.

I had one a few years back that lasted a good 6 years. And to the poster bashing Walmart maybe she doesn't know they donate more $$ then any other major company including 2 billion just in women's charities. Yes they really discriminate.

My Dad bought one from Sam's- one of those tall tables. The chairs keep losing their screws. I would not have bought it, myself, but he loves it.
