Anyone Been to Curves in Grand Prairie?

Hello Ladies! I was wondering if anyone has been to the Curves in Grand Prairie. Specifically the one on Polo Road. I want to start working out again (it's been 6 yrs or more) and I heard Curves was an affordable easy way to ease back into working out. I have a 3 yr old and would have to take her with me. Does anyone know if you can take kids or not? Do some Curves have a child play area? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

What can I do next?

I used to go to the curves off of Carrier. You couldn't bring kids to that one. I don't think any of them have child care, but I could be wrong. Have you thought about the YMCA?

Hello K.,
I have been to a few of the Curves locations and I have yet to see one with daycare facilities. I have seen some kids sitting on the side watching but that is about it. I likes Curves and the systems they have to work on, but I got frustrated becuase I did not see results fast enough.
I hope this helped.

my mother has been working out at Curves for the past 6 months (in Baird) and loves it! The centers are not set up for children. That is a liability that most franchise oweners are not ready to take on. You should call that individual franchise to makes know for sure.

I was a member of Curves for a year, not in Grand Prarie however, its a great workout environment. I will be honest and say I did not actually lose any weight or drop a size. I went the three times a week they advised. I found it is a great way to get exercise have some "girl" time but I only lost a few inches in my thigh instead of dropping the 20-30 lbs I wanted. I've been to several locations in Texas on my travels and I have yet to see a child play area or one that lets you bring your kids. Mine asked specifically that I not bring them. They are also closed for 3 hours in the middle of the day. I hope that answers some questions.
