Any Recommendations for a Birthday Party Jumper/clown Combo?
My baby girl is turning 4 at the end of the month and I am trying to rent a jumper for the backyard party. I don't need anything too large or too expensive, and was actually trying to find a company that would also supply a clown or someone to make those animals out of balloon "thingy's". When I look online or in the telephone book I am overwhelmed and would much rather prefer a personal recommendation from someone who has had a good experience with a particular company or individual. I am in the East Bay. Any suggestions?

Hi D.,
Exactly where are you located. I have some connections if you let me know where you are located. You can email me directly at ____@____.com
and I'll see how I might be able to help you.
I'm in Sonora CA but used to live in the Bay Area.
Thanks
PS Kids that age also love Puppet Shows, depending on where you are located.. I might have connections for that as well.

D.,
My little one will be having her first birthday party next week. My oldest daughter is nearly three and most of the kids in attendance will be between 2-6 years of age. I have hired the services of Magic Princess. This company provides an array of characters, I chose a pretty clown, and they perform for the kids for 90 minutes. She'll lead a sing/ dance-along with the kids, paint faces and blow up balloons. I have yet to use the services but after looking at the website and speaking with the owner, I got a good vibe. I would encourage you to look at the website, google Magic Princess. They perform throughout the entire Bay Area. They also provide jumpers that coordinate with some of the characters they provide.

Look in your yellow pages for a jumper company in your area - a lot of them won't travel far I've found.
We saw Sparkles & Ravioli at the Mountain House library - they were great and the kids were spellbound. They do balloon animals, magic and facepainting - all you'll need is a cake! ###-###-####
Also, in the West Valley mall in Tracy there's an indoor juming place called Party Hearty you can rent out - great for hot weather or winter - you have to bring in food etc. but they clean up the mess! My idea of a great party! - last year I cleaned up blue frosting for a month after my son's birthday party. it was under the table - on the walls, bathroom sink, sofa, rug, windows - the kids ate outside so it was the parents that made the mess! ;)
party on!

oh my gosh you have GOT to contact Budderball the clown, she has a website and also is listed on mamasource -
we've had her two years in a row and our kids' birthday wouldn't seem the same/as great without her, now!!!!
we used Star Jumpers, they were the cheapest and just as reliable and professional -
good luck and have fun!!!

I went to a party with a clown and every child cried! It was a 3 year old birthday so the group was a little younger, but the kids hated it. From the moment he came in the kids were so scared, my girlfriend finally paid him a little extra and asked him to leave.

I would just like to forewarn you that I've had a lot of jumpers and my kids love them (have 3 kids), but would NOT RECOMMEND Bay Area Jumps - we had a terrible experience with them. They did not tell us that stairs were additional money ($1 or more per stair) and they used a dolly to take the jumper down the stairs and tore up many of the stairs (took divets out of each). When confronted they were very nasty and refused repair our stairs.
