I have a 6 1/2 month old handsome baby boy who is a huge mommas boy. He doesn't like to be around his father unless I'm gone or I just give him to his father and let him yell. Well his father doesn't like that. He's really feeling neglected and I don't know what do do about this.

What can I do next?

that is totally normal for a baby that age. especially for kids of stay at home moms. they see you as their source of comfort, as their source of food, as their source of excitement. its not that he doesnt like your boyfriend, he just doesnt see him and the one the provides for his needs at home. try having your boy friend feed him and give him a bath at night. sometimes simple bonding like that can really help!

good luck!

try letting daddy have him by himself for a couple of hours and then plan a night that little one goes and stays the night with family so you two can be alone. Also make sure you communicate and express any concerns with your SO. Also my daughter is afraid of any guy other than daddy but yet other women don't bother her.

now my daughter is such a daddy's girl it isn't funny! she is miss independant and wants to do everything on her own. so enjoy the cuddles while he is still small.

Your boyfriend is feeling neglected or your baby? Is the boyfriend the father?

I would say that it is just a phase and soon enough your son will bond with his daddy. Enjoy the hugs while they last.

I'm kind of confused about your issue but it is perfectly normal for your little guy to be attacked to mom. It doesn't mean that daddy is bad or anything. It is a stage that most babies go through and he will grow out of it.
