Hi Moms. I figured it was time for me to start Christmas shopping...I am looking for a present for my Godmother. Any ideas? Suggestions? Thanks to all in advance and Happy Holidays!

depending on how old your children are, how about they make something? my son used to belong to a craft club (a box came every month with directions and supplies) and made and gave as gifts all kinds of neat stuff. one gift his grandma really liked was a flower pot with popsicle sticks stuck in it with a different character on the stick with a picture of my sons face where the characters face would be. ie: santa on a stick with camerons's face, easter bunny, his favorite a scary monster, stuff like that. i personally liked the alligator refrigerator clip made out of a clothes pin and the lady bug refrigerator magnet.

The perfect gift for a loving person who has everything is a donation in their name to a great charity. Try Heifer International-- you can give your Godmother a goat for a poor person that will feed a whole community because they require every person who receives a goat to give the first born away to another needy family. The gift that keeps on giving. http://www.heifer.org/

Go to www.sensationalsundaes.com, they are handmade Sundaes.

Hi-
I am not sure what her preferences are, but a nice necklace with your children's birthstones on it could be nice- they make gold chains with those little angels or boy and girl charms that have birthstones on them. My mum loved those when we were kids.
A second idea is to have your kids make her something- and then add a nice present from you on the back end. A 30 minute massage, a pedicure at her favorite salon, a cd of her favorite kind of music, a G/C to a book store, etc. A groumet candle, a portrait sitting with her and your children for Christmas, etc.
Hope this helps!

go to shutterfly.com and make a photo calendar of your kids

How close are you to her? Do you know her interests? Is she a person who has everything already? Magazine suscriptions to a person's hobbies are nice. Books are always wonderful. Does she garden? There is a beutiful red Christmas camelia that blooms in December that could be found at a upscale garden nursery. Or how about a vase with pebbles and paperwhites in it? Some mail order bulb companies will send a blooming plant every month for a year. Does she like to sew? A sewing basket, a needlepoint kit of a pillow with a nice saying on it....

I sent another response, sorry I read goddaughter....

I think a really nice bible would be great. You can never have too many of them. I've got many around my home, it's nice to read the many different ways it is written.

How bout going to one of those paint it yourself pottery places and having a platter made for her with your kids' handprints on it in some sort of design? I saw one year a lady making them with her kids and she made the handprints into reindeer, and ther is always the famous handprint turkey! LOL ~ but I am sure that you could go to a place like that and they would be able to give you some ideas also so it wasn'tsomething you felt like you were just throwing together. It is a lot of fun, and they already have all the tools that you need and they have always been very helpful to me when I go in to make stuff! Another idea might be to make her a calendar with pictures of your family for each month. I think sometimes people appreciate that kind of thing more, since by the time they are grandmas, they usually have everything else they could possibly want! LOL ~ Good Luck!
