Any Ideas for a 6Yr Old Girl Birthday Party?

My baby girl is turning 6 March 18th! Last year I threw her a "princess party" at home, but this year, she wants to invite boys and girls. We don't have a Chucky Cheese close by, so does anyone have any good ideas for a birthday party I can have either close to home, or in my home? And if we have it in our home, what do we do?!
(We live in the Thornton area)

Thanks everyone for all the great responses, so much stuff that I couldn't think of at the time really gave me some great ideas for close to home parties, etc.
She is very excited to go with Gymnastics Unlimited for her bday party, they are close by and lots of fun the age group. I also got some other great ideas for the next bday's! Thanks so much!

Hi Shanda,
Haven't read the other responses, but we've been to a number of parties lately at the Pump It Up in Broomfield (off 287, just south of I-36). It has a bunch of bouncy castles, slides, air hockey, etc. and my 5-6 year olds love it (plus my 3 year old).

Have fun!

I think there may be an inflatable world by you (maybe at 104th & I-25). I hear its great for all ages.

What about a local Humane Society? They often set up cute parties, where the kids learn about the animals, and can even have some canine or feline party goers...

Skate City has good bday parties and the bday girl gets a pair of skates to take home

Pump It Up in Broomfield is REALLY fun and may be closer for you. They have terrific birthday parties

well first i think primerica is a scam. but as for a bday party in thornton there is a pump it up in broomfield and my 5 yr old loves is also there is a new place called jump street off of 84th and i25 you ould also do a rec center pookl party they are pretty reasonable hope this helps :)

Shanda,

I, too, recommend Pump It Up in Broomfield. I had a birthday party for my son last year when he turned six. He had both boys and girls and it also worked great because many of our family/friends have children of all different ages and it was fun for everyone (even the adults had a great time jumping around, racing each other, etc). Your older children will have a great time, too. It was better priced than Jump Street. It's definitely a little more expensive than a McDonalds would I think it's worth it since EVERYONE is entertained.

Have you looked into Jumpstreet? Its really inexpensive! I looked into it recently for my daughters 5th birthday. I think it might be a great idea for you!

Try calling your local gymnastics class or rec center, or even YMCA. You can have a fun and active bday party that will suit both boys and girls. Close to you is Boon Docks too isn't there? Depending on how many kids I wouldn't have it at home. I learned early on that it lessens the stress big time if you don't have to worry about the mess! :)

If there is a Mcdonald with a planland close by I would suggest that. It works for boys and girls with my children in the past. Also they set up and clean up it is wonderful.
