Any Good Churches in Little Rock??

I've been looking for a home church for several years. Now that my daughter is growing up I want her to be raised in church like I was. But it is so difficult 'shopping' around, especially with no one to go with!

What can I do next?

If you are still looking and want something close to where you live, I live in Mabelvale which is part Pulaski and part Saline Counties...if you live near that area...I can give you some ideas.

I attend a church in a small community outside of Little Rock. It is in the East End Community going towards Sheridan. It is called East Union Baptist Church. It is the most wonderful church I have ever attended! My husband and I looked for a church for over 2years! This church has wonderful programs for all ages. You should visit us!

It's just outside of Little Rock on the SW side toward Bryant on I30, but if you're willing to make the drive, our preschool and singles ministries at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church of Little Rock are awesome! I have a three year old girl and she LOVES going to church. We'll be there for Cubbies tonight. There is a visitor's desk just inside the preschool lobby and it's super easy to find. We'd love to help you! Several of my friends are Sunday morning preschool greeters so tell them M. invited you and I'm sure they will help you! My name is M. Koontz.

I didn't even see someone else already responded from our church also! Hope to meet you soon!

I attend a Full Counsel Christian Fellowship in North Little Rock. Dr. Silas Johnson is the Pastor. We would love to have you visit us on Sunday! We have two service times, 9:00am and 11:00am. Full counsel offers nursery for both services. I love my church, church family and Pastor I have grown since coming to Full Counsel.
I'm a wife and a mother of 5 children. I have attended church there for the past 8 years.

We moved here 3 years ago, and it was very difficult for us to find the right place. It took us well over a year! We eventually felt Fellowship Bible Church was the best place for us and our children. Fellowship is non-demonational as well, and they focus on ministry. They teach my children what I was taught growing up, but in a fun, inviting manner. (I was raised So. Baptist) My kids are 9 and 6 and they LOVE going to church. We have not regretted our decision. It is a large church, but don't let that intimidate you. There are booths set up all around to help you plug in somewhere. Good luck with your search!

agape church very good worship and kid thru teens classes on napa valley and rodney parham rd.

Hi, I am actually new to Little Rock and looking for a church as well. We did not grow up in church and really like a relaxed, good music, church like we had before and so far we have visited Rock Creek (i liked the message, but it was very contemporary with concrete floors, and felt a little like i should've been on tv) and we've tried Grace on Cantrell which i believe is "an offshoot" of Fellowship, and we really liked the message, the music, and the children's classed were pretty small. The church we liked so much in TN was very big, and I think we actually liked Grace being smaller so the kids could actually get to know the other kids in their class. It was relaxed, had coffee (not sure if it was free like our previous church), but nice. We are wanting to try Fellowship, but will probably wait until they move to Rahling Rd. and we also wanted to try St. James Methodist. They have different services, some more traditional or contemporary. Also, a friend of mine told us to try the Summit Church which she said was across the bridge. I agree that it's very hard taking 3 kids from church to church and leaving them with different people everytime, so good luck, hope this helps and let us know what you find too!

I don't know how far you're willing to drive - but Central Baptist Church in NLR is AWESOME.

We moved back to this area in September and spent a couple of months looking for a church. CBC is the most loving, Christ-centered church I have EVER been to. They have tons of ways to get involved, and are very outreach oriented (and also have a wonderful children's program).

Please check out the website (there are also sermons available online)

Let me know if you have any questions! We'd love to see you and your daughter there! (I have a 3 year old son - and they'd be in the same class : )
