Hi Moms...just wondering if anyone has any great ideas for girls' birthday parties. I have looked into Justice Webkinz party which is an awesome idea but at $40 a kid I just think that is crazy. Also looking into Sweet and Sassy at Citrus but that is also very expensive. Maybe if I had a coupon or something?? So, I am thinking of doing it with Abrakadoodle. If anyone has a coupon that you won't be using, can you please send it my way? I will send you my address if you wouldn't mind emailing me. Thanks!! I am open to all ideas.

What can I do next?

I never had a coupon for Abrakadoodle, but it was worth the $199. The only thing they didn't cover was the cake - which is ok with me. The kids had a great time and they still talk about it - 2 years later.

My other daughter (older) did the Michael's birthday party. We did the denim bags. When I compared price tags (I had to bring all the food, drinks and favors to Michael's), I spent a little more at Michael's than Abrakadoodle. We had a great time but Michael's is very, very parent involved and Abrakadoodle allowed me to enjoy the craft experience a lot more!

If money is an issue have a party at home. There are lots of fun things you can do. I remember one time we had a beauty pagent here at home. Each girl had a dress, shorts, pants and swimsuit to model. We took pictures. Then we had photo frames to decorate and put the pictures in for the parents and grandparents. Then instead of a fancy Birthday cake we had cookies and each girl decorated their own cookies they were going to eat and each got to take some home. Everyone had a great time and my girls are now 21 and 23 and still talk about the beauty pagent they had.....

Michael's does birthday parties where the kids do a craft and then get to take it home. I think they are $10 and under depending on the craft you pick.
