Bad Mama! Just kidding. :p Though I think the official spread is Rangers in six. We thought we were dead in the water a month ago so this is all gravy.

Queen I do not remember that and I was 19 and followed that series. Must have been something only heard in KC. Sorry bout that.

Well the Cards got game one!

Well, I grew up a Cardinals fan, so I'm going to say the Cards in 7. It should be a great series! I was not thinking I would be watching my Cardinals in the World Series back in August!

My husband is a rabid Cardinals fan, and we were living in St. Louis when they won the 06 series. Went to the parade and everything! So we are rooting for the Cards. I do have a funny story about that.

Yesterday I took my daughter to the store. I was zooming her around in the cart when this dude started looking at me kinda funny then hollered, "Go Carts!". I just smiled and nodded him, but was thinking, "Ok, whatever dude." Then it dawned on me I was wearing a Cardinals hat....then I felt like an idiot.

Ive been a bit preoccupied lately and when I saw your question I thought it was odd you just asked about a couple teams. As if they were playing locally and you might go see a game. Then my husband came home from work and asked if he could change the tv to the World Series.. I looked up and said,, "WHAT?" The series is on? geesh talk about being out of touch.. So, because we visited St Louis once, and actually went to a game (they won) we will cheer for the cards. And at our house we call it "The World Serious" Go Cards,, first game winners!

I'm a Twins fan, so I don't have a dog in this fight. BUT, I will never forget that in the 1987 World Series the Cards' announcer made fun of Kirby Puckett's hiney, singing on the PA system, "Kirby's got a big, fat butt...big, fat butt..." Yeah, I was only 6, but for some reason I've never really liked the Cards since then :)

As for me, it's the Rangers!!! My sister who is from Texas has lived in St Louis now for the past two years. So you can imagine the beating she is getting from her coworkers. She has caught a bit of the fever for the Cardinals but is still rooting for the Rangers. So she is a bit torn.

My son was drafted by the Houston Astros at 17. He made a bad decision and got let go...he's currently with the Can-Am league...so I'm a BASEBALL FAN!!!

My youngest son was a pitcher for Chico State...he's currently in minor league ball.

both are great teams. I'm a Padres fan...so I don't have a pony in this race. I'm looking for good games!!

My daughter played softball for 11 years and we felt most comfortable at tge Angels games vs. Dogers (we are in Southern California). Loved the catcher Napoli (sp???) so gotta go with TX. I was even able to see them play the Phillies when I went to Philadelphia for training for two weeks on May. She may have other thoughts, I need to ask her! I'm sure you are very happy though :)
