Any Advise on Finding a Babysitter?
I'm looking for a weekend babysitter to watch my 2 yr. old son. Nortwestside Chicago area (Portage Park). I need someone whom I can trust and is great with a toddler. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I am a single mom looking for an occasional Saturday night out to relax, have fun and release any tension or stress. I hear sittercity.com is great. I haven't used it yet. I think you may have to join for a small fee, I'm not sure.

I have a really really great sitter who is available weekend and most week nights. We aren't using her much anymore but she has cared for both my 3 year old and had my 4 month old for the first month I went back to work. If you are close to public transportation, I will send you her contact info - she does not have a car.
