American Airlines Center -- Our First Concert Since...
..having our 3 year old twins. Can anyone share info on the best seating in the American Airlines Center? It's a concert and the stage will be all the way to one end.
Apprecite any advice on choosing decent seats for our first concert and second date since having our sons.
TIA

I would say the 1st level up from the floor seats and the 1st or 2nd section close to the stage. I have been there for a concert in the past and am going this weekend for another. We got to pick the tickets last time but this time we were offered a deal on tickets from a friend and so we are sitting higher up. Of course with it being a louder concert this time I am okay with that. Enjoy!

We were just there in Oct. for a concert... and we were on the floor seats.. really bad idea.. since these seats are not stadium type seats on the floor, we could hardly see.. you know how it is trying to see over someone who is way taller, wearing a hat etc.!!! So unless you are front row, floor.. I would definately not recommend the floor seating! I would probably try to shoot for the first couple of rows where the stadium seats start. We have definately learned!! Have fun!! You deserve it!!!

I would not recommend the 3rd level if you can avoid it; I get a little dizzy as the seats are quite steep. Have fun!

Just do not get seats up high. They are so steep that the person in front of you literally has their head at your feet and there is BARELY any walkway or room for you to put your feet. We went to a concert and got the "cheap seats" ( I use the word cheap LOOSELY!) and it was horrible.

If at all possible, sit directly across from the stage. That building is not very well designed acoustically and if you sit anywhere else, you get an echo throughout the entire show. If you're on the opposite end from the stage, the audio is aimed directly at you and you don't get as much of an echo.
Enjoy your concert!

Yeah the seats up high are VERY steep; we kinda laughed about it. But if you don't have children with you, they're not bad at all! Personally, if I can't be up close or to the side very close, then I like to face the stage directly: all the way to the back. It's surprisingly easy to see them still. (This, from a girl who would literally camp on the sidewalk for general admission/floor tickets and then skip school and camp on the sidewalk the day of the concert to get from 1st to 3rd row in my youth).
