Has anyone taken their toddlers to see this movie? I don't know much about it, but wanted to get my little ones out. I was wondering if the film has lots of music, as I think they would like this. Thanks in advance!

I saw it with my kids. There was some good music but not as much as the first movie. Overall it was cute though.

Hello D.,
I do believe that Alvin and The Chipmunks, is rated pg. I have not did any further research on it or seen it. If the movie is like their past, it would be very funny and musical, for your children. For films for at home you can check out Feature Family Films, they have excellent movies for the age of your children.

I took my son, who is almost 2, and the kids that I nanny, who are between 4 1/2 and 10. They all seemed to enjoy it. There are a lot of cute parts and lots of music. I do think the story line was way over my son's head, but he still had a great time dancing in the aisles.

I took my 3 children right after Christmas (6,5,2). They enjoyed it. There is tons of music but it is mostly popular music playing now. The first one was better but aren't they all.

We took my daughter to see this right after Christmas. She is turning 3 in March and this was her first movie theater experience. She sat in the booster seat very well through the movie (until about the last 20 minutes). The movie itself was cute but not THAT much music from what I remember but it still held my daughters attention. I would recommend taking a toddler to this movie!

My six-year old wants to go see this movie. I also have a four-year old who may or may not sit for it. I took him to see "Up" for his first movie, and he only lasted about 30 minutes. Take snacks in your purse to help it go smoother. A couple Hersey Kisses might do the trick. (or suckers). In response to the other poster about Chuckie Cheese...we will never, ever be going to one of those places again. Last time, we had the stomach flu the next day. It was horrible. At least the one in Crystal Lake is nasty. It was dirty and they go up in the tunnels and you know no one is sanitizing it up there...gross(the bathrooms were dirty too!!! My kids do not want to go back ever either! Have fun at the movie if you go!!

I took my kids over the Christmas break and they really enjoyed it. The boys thought the 1st one was better but my daughter liked this one better because of the girl chipmunks.

I took my 3 and 5 year old and they loved it. It was our first movie and I was unsure about taking them since they wont sit thru a movie at home, but they sat the entire time. We even went back a second time.

I took my daughter to see it - she is five years old and loved it! I saw a lot of toddlers there, though, and they were really good about sitting and watching it. I would definitely recommend it.

Toddlers usually have a hard time sitting through a movie. Can you take them to a Chuck E Cheese? They can run around there all they want, and it's way cheaper than a movie if you don't go crazy with the game tokens.
