I was ver irregular with my bowels. When I started taking alli, it helped me loose the last ten pounds I needed. My mother is a;so very irregular so I suggested she take it and it worked for her too. I would suggest you try it if you are irregular.

I exercise 3-4 times a week & was eating a relatively low fat diet but needed to take off about 10 lbs so I tried Alli. I had a couple accidents when I forgot & ate potato chips or fries. Not a good experience but then you dont forget again. It worked for me!

I thought about taking Alli and then a friend turned me on to Weight Watchers, and I was instantly hooked! I lost almost 40lbs. in just over 4 months. These results are not typical according to their program guidelines, but it did work for me! I was about 60+lbs. overweight so I did have a ways to go, but I never thought I could ever lose weight!

The program is easy and you can eat anything, just in moderation...I even found fun ways to eat my favorite food....buffalo wings! You can join by the week, which is $12, or pay by the month, but is just under $10, and it's an automatic payment. The fee includes their online program which makes it so easy to keep track of what you eat and it list 1000's of restaurants and their food items!

That is just my thoughts on effective weight loss. Weight Watchers makes it's so easy to live a normal, healthy life, and still lose the weight!

I have heard great things about south beach diet, and even Jenny Craig (my sister does great on this). Personally, I don't think any amount of 'anal leakage' is worth the 'possibility' of weighing a few pounds lighter.

From what I understand, any amount of fat in your diet pretty much slips through your digestive system and basically leaks out, it doesn't allow your body to absorb fats. Deductive reasoning tells me that if you avoid those foods, you will lose weight anyway... i guess the incentive to stay away from them is shatting yourself during a meeting or while at the grocery, it wouldn't work for me, because i'd stop taking the pills the first time i had to change my clothes at work or leave the store with a messy backside.

Not for me, but to each their own ;-)

I personally took it when it first came out. I was eating relatively healthy so I did not have the diareha issue that I have heard of. However, I did have one too many experiences with the oily excretions and it was too much for me. Sometimes it would happen without warning. On at least one occasion I had to throw away my undergarments. I didn't last long on it to know if it was effective or not.

I started taking Alli while following South Beach Diet. I haven't had too many side effects, except for the times when I was extremely hungry and ended up eating too much fat. I am loosing weight and I don't know if it's SBD or Alli, or both together, but it is working....

My mom tried it and she had the "poop issue". She eats healthy and really doesn't eat a lot of fat to be honest. She returned it to the store and they said they had a ton of returns for the same reason.

If you research Alli there are side effects if you eat too much fat, or grease. According to many I know who take it, as well as different articles(People magazine had one) they are oily excretions, which are similar to diarrhea but also have a tendency to "spill out" at innopportune times...like when you are not in a bathroom. They warn you to wear dark colored pants just in case, as well as a large pad which covers your backside for just such accidents while getting used to the diet necessary for this "miracle drug" to work. Do your research and weigh the positives and negatives.
