Allergist Needed - South Bay
I am looking for a good Allergist in the South Bay. My daughter suffers all year round from allergies. We have wrapped her mattress and pillows, gotten rid of most stuffed animals and we do not have a pet. I believe that I need to take her to a specialist. Please advise.

Dr. Buchsbaum has a very good reputation. I even know pediatricians that take their children to him. Me and my two children have gone to him for years.

My pediatrician is also an allergist and I think that he is wonderful. I would suggest at least interviewing him to see what you think. His name is Dr. Lawrence Sher, his number is ###-###-#### and he is located in the P.V. mall on the top floor. He has been treating my allergies now for about 10 years and it has changed my life!

After I had horrible allergic reactions to the adhesive tape from my c-section, I blindly called Dr. Charles Song (Song Institute in Manhattan Beach) from a list of in-network providers for my PPO and had a great experience. I was able to get an immediate appointment and Dr. Sony was very attentive and did not make me feel rushed. Also, he diagnosed the condition quickly and accurately (I had previously gone to the local urgent care facility, my dermatologist and my Ob/gyn) and, according to my sisters (in medical field), prescribed the proper meds. Good luck in your search.

I love my allergist...Dr. Loscialpo. He's in Los Alamitos. http://www.healthgrades.com/directory_search/Physician/Pr...
I was on an HMO prior to seeing him and the doctor would not refer me to an allergist. Just keep trying to prescribe me Claritin and wouldn't even do scratch tests. I wrapped my pillows and tried everything and thats when I finally just decided to go out and pay for an allergist. This guy is amazing. Actually did a get to know you meeting for about half hour in his office so we could talk abut my symptoms and then he did extensive scratch tests before prescribing me Flonase. My hay fever has gone away and I can breathe again. AMAZING!! If my kid has allergies I will definitely bring him to this doctor. He absolutely cares, always does follow ups....I would highly recommend!!!!! Good luck.

Yes you should probably have her tested. My Allergist's office is next door to Torrance Memorial His name is Dr. Dean Chiang and his office partner is Alan Singer. Their office phone is ###-###-####. Good luck with your daughters allergies. I know how rough it can be.
