All Natural Disposable Diapers for Overnight
Can anyone give me any ideas as to what to use for my son for an overnight diaper. He has eczema and allergies to regular diapers, so we use the Huggies pure and natural which don't break him out. He is leaking through at night again and when this has happened I've always moved him up to the next size, but he is IN the biggest size. Does anyone know of a "natural" dye, perfume and color free disposable diaper that is made in an overnight or larger than size 5?

J.-
I have a suggestion, but it isn't disposable. We use a size large fuzzi bunz with a chinese or indian prefold. It's not very expensive and you'll only need two or three (depending on how often you do laundry). This lasts us through the night.
Might be worth a try.

I don't know if Seventh Generation has that size or in an overnight, but that may be an option. Have you considered trying non-disposables? You could wash them in dye/scent free soap. Best wishes!

J., i have no clue about the diapers, but he's 18 months old now, and he sounds like a big boy - have you tried just cutting out fluids an hour (or two!) before bedtime? just a thought, you might already but thought i'd throw it out there.

Try Baby Naturecare - great product especially for boys - they are very absorbent in the front. They do come in a size 6. I like them because you don't have to give up performance for a eco-friendly, no dyes, no chlorine, fragrance-free and cartoon-free product.

What if you kept him in the size he's in right now and put another larger diaper over the first one? I did that sometimes when my kids went through phases of leaking through. Maybe the top diaper wouldn't have to be dye-free. Just a thought. Maybe the leaking phase will pass.

I don't know about natural but I moved my kids to GoodNights because the diapers weren't working. I don't know what weight or body build your kiddo is but you might start with the M/L. My kids are nearly 5 & 6 and we've been in the XL for awhile now...the youngest is the largest and she's 70lbs (big boned) and we don't have many problems with either her or skinny boy wetting through them at night. I found the Huggies one's to be the most reliable. Pampers has one out but it was a waste of my money as they wet right through them. Good luck!
