Hello K.,
First off, I'm sending baby dust your way. I too am impatiently waiting to test next week :O)
anyhow, when I was pregnant with my daughter I was about 3 or 4 months along when I flew from CA to TX to OK and back to CA. There were no issues and my OB kind of giggled when she gave me the ok to do it. The only thing I would suggest is bringing or buying some ginger ale or other ginger stuff. I didn't have really bad morning sickness, just a slight nausea most of the day. However, flying made me not feel so great. So maybe a stash of prego pops or something with ginger in it. At one of the layovers I found a bar that sold ginger ale and realized it wasn't a wives tale that it makes you feel better. :O)
Best of luck!

Hi K.,
You crack me up. You type like you're texting! Yes air travel is fine while you're pregnant. It's just recommended to get up and walk around frequently to avoid blood clots forming in your legs. It's recommended for everyone, but especially for pregnant women. Good luck. Hope you really are pregnant. I have 4 beautiful girls and I don't regret a second of it all! Being a mom is the most important job on earth! God bless.

There is nothing wrong with flying while you are pregnant.

You are fine to travel during the first trimester and 2nd. Just remember to pack some snacks and water to keep hydrated.

When I was pregnant my doctor informed me that air travel is fine up to your 8th month. There is no danger during your 1st, 2nd, and some of your thitd trimester as long as you are having a healthy pregnancy.

I traveled when I was 7 weeks pregnant - we booked before we got pregnant. Dr said it's fine - it's best to fly during your 2nd trimester - 1st b/c you might have morning sickness and flying might not agree with you - 3rd b/c you're bigger and not as comfortable. But most drs will tell you you're safe to fly up to like 32-35 weeks. Check with your dr but you should be fine. Have a good trip!

Sending good preggo vibes your way...
No problem traveling in the first trimester EXCEPT for possible morning sickness. I had to travel for business (San Francisco to Madrid) when I was 7-8 weeks pregnant earlier this year and it was pretty hard. Take lots of your favorite snacks for the plane, stay as hydrated as possible and if it's really bad, ask your ob for some medicine before you go. I took Zofran when I needed it for morning sickness and it really helped. I also recommend some kind of sugar water-- i.e. diluted fruit juice or putting crystal light in water bottles. The sugar will help keep the nausea away but you have to drink steadily.
Hope this isn't even a consideration for you!!
