hello. my daughter is 2 1/2 months old and looking for daycares in our area. anyone have any suggestions? or info on bad daycares? i'm so nervous to put her in the care of others but i have no choice at this time. any info is appreciated. thanks!
My daughter goes to Merry Mills Child Care Center at 15 and Schoenherr. They are an amazing group of women that work there. My daughter loves to go to "school" as they call it. The phone number there is ###-###-####. Prices aren't too bad, about $170 a week, with all meals included during the school year.

When I had just 1 child I had my daughter at Kid Town USA, which is on 19 Mile between Garfield and Hayes. They are a bit pricey, but I never had any issues (for 2 kids they were just going to be too expensive for the 3 days that I needed). My daughter was there for 5 years. Now that I have 2 kids I have them in a home daycare. I don't think she has any openings currently. You could also contact the 4C's of Macomb and they can give you a listing of daycares in the general area that you are looking at. You will need to go out and look at several centers and see what they are like. Make sure to ask lots of questions. Any daycare should be willing to let you see how the workers interact with the kids.

My son who is 4 goes to Shelby Pre-School on 22 and Schoehnerr, but it is also a Daycare!! They are AWESOME there and their prices are so much better than anywhere else that I have looked. Terri the director is hands on and a really careing person. I'm not looking forward to the day my son has to go to Kindergarten because I'll have to take him out of this school :(
It is West of Schoehnerr on the North Side of 22 Mile Road, right behind the strip mall.

My son 3, attends the Kindercare at 15 and Schoenherr. We love it! We will be moving soon, and I hate the idea that we will have to leave. The staff is wonderful!
N., I am a single mother of 3 children and let me tell you I have child care a couple of times, because I think that if I am going to pay for child care I am going to demand alot and I am trusting these places with my whole life (My Children). I have recently enrolled my children in the learning experiance on 18 mile and Hayes I am really excited about the ciriculim and all the activities that children do every day.
