Advice: Lightweight & Easy 2 Open Stroller 4 Toddler: Maclaren Quest? Other?
Dear mommas, We are seeking a lightweight stroller to keep in the car that is easy to open etc, and with good shade. We saw the Maclaren Quest and was curious to hear from you mommas any feedback on this.
(As an aside, I usually wear my son in an ergo, with the summertime, it can get hot outside for hte two of us, especially midday when sometimes we need to walk 10-15 minutes to my car after we have a special play event for the two of us.)
Thank you as usual for your good input.

So I own a very small, earth-centered shop on Cape Cod. What I pick to carry as products often are not well known, but are fantastic! These companies do NOT spend a lot on advertising, instead investing in a top quality product. I carry the Keekaroo Karoo Stroller - it is the same as MacLaren, but half the cost ($149.99)! Beautiful product that I bet you never heard of!

I love my Quest stroller. I usually keep it in my car and it's easy to open and close, pushes nicely, and I haven't had any problems with it. There is a decent sized basket underneath so I have room for my diaper bag. My son is pretty comfy in it and when he was younger, I liked that it could recline a little bit if I wanted him to sleep. It's a good stroller - I think you'll be really happy with it. All Maclarens are really good quality.

I'm not familiar with the Maclaren Quest, but know that most people are very happy with that brand.
I just wanted to talk up the toddler stroller I use: The Joovy Caboose Sit n' Stand. I love it, I love it, I love it, I do! It opens and closes like a dream, is lightweight yet sturdy, and can accommodate an infant and a toddler. It also allows the toddler the option to sit or stand on a platform in the back. I know that Joovy makes a double stroller version as well...though I have not used one first-hand.

I was going for the Quest until I saw the Baby Jogger City Mini. It has a fantastic shade for S. FL. as it covers most of the stroller. It also folds in one swift move. It's so easy, you can fold it and put it in the car while holding your child at the same time. Never regretted my decision!

Love my Quest, the only problem is the shade isn't very big. but I am interested in what someone mentioned below about the extra shade they purchased. It would be worth it for how great the stroller is.

I was looking at the Quest, but I ended up getting the Baby Jogger City Mini because the shade is awesome!! It really keeps my toddler shaded and it folds with one hand and opens really easily, as well. It's so easy to push and I'm so happy with my decision. I would definitely take a look at it because I LOVE it!!!
