Hi moms! I am in the ninth month of my second pregnancy. I am prepping for a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) and it is important that I go into labor on my own to avoid another c-section. Does anyone have any homeopathic ways to "suggest" to my body that it's time for labor to begin?
I have heard a few tips But I wanted to hear what other moms had to say. Thanks.

What can I do next?

blue cohash, check at whole foods or other homeopathic places. Don't do it until you are full term!! It really works, used by some to lose a pregnancy. I used it with my second child. I had both mine at home with a midwife. I went into labor for 4 days with the second one. I would labor from 2 am till 7 am and then stop. On the fourth day I bought the blue cohash(sp)and when I went into labor at 2 am on the fifth day I started taking it. I took it every hour until he was born at 4:30 that afternoon. Every time I was late taking it I would stop labor again. We found out later my son was stopping the labor because of a short umbilical cord. Everything came out fine in the end!! Good Luck, but be careful. Homeopathic or not, they are still drugs!

Hello! Situation a little different but just wanted to share! I had to have a planned cs with my first because he was Frank Breech. His schedualed bday was Feb 7th. I was not happy about the cs or about his bday being planned. I wanted to be able to experience natural labor also. Well, what I did was PRAY!.....and I went into labor on my own Feb 2nd in the am, went to the hospital at 3am, had one more ultrasound that my OBGYN promised me just to make sure he had not turned(he had not), had contractions for about 30 minutes until my dr got there(which satisfied my want of wanting to expirience natural labor!!!!!) and he was here around 5am! Prayer girl!!!

We are trying this month for a second blessing and will become very interested in VBAC. Let us know how it goes and I am sure that everything will be just fine. Think positive, speak positive and you will recieve positive!

I used castor oil when I was pregnant. I was 38 weeks and hot and uncomfortable and as big as a house and already dialated to 5cm. I was so done with being pregnant. I mixed a tablespoon of castor oil with soda at 9pm and sat on a medicine ball and started bouncing. I watched a movie and bounced through the whole thing. I mixed another tablespoon of castor oil and soda at 11pm and bounced some more. Then the boyfriend and I had sex...lol... around 1am I started having contractions that were around 10 minutes apart. I bounced on the medicine ball until the contraction were 4 minutes apart. We went to the hospital at 3:30am and I had my baby girl at 7:33am.
I don't know if it was the castor oil or the sex...so I recommend doing both. lol.... Good Luck!!!

The suggestions you've gotten cover everything I've heard but you can always refuse to be induced.
