Advertising for New Business??

I own a new dance studio in Parker and I was wondering what type of advertisements do you think reach parents the best? There are so many choices and we are a small family owned studio so money is not growing on trees. I have to be careful with the decision I make and I do not know what works and what does not work. What would you suggest?

What can I do next?

This may not be a way to reach the most clients, but it may reach some, and its free. Check out craigslist.org. All postings are free, you just have to update every couple days. You could probably put a posting in several categories.

Hi H., I have seen many people post on the web under Craig's list also under Denver Free ads.com. KOSI 101 website also will post job openings for free, not sure if they have anything for advertising a business. Some schools will have bulletin boards that you can post, also some apartment complexes will let you post. There is one called Saddle Ridge Village off of Smoky Hill and E-470 that lets people post ads, I hope they still do.. If I can think of any more I will let you know. Good luck to you. K.

I personally like the Colorado Parent magazine.

Good Luck!!

Hi H.,

When I was in MOMS Club in Texas we were always looking for new advertisers for our newsletter. The advertisers helped offset the cost for our newsletter. I was in charge of advertising. The cost was realitively decent. We had a lot of stay at home moms with businesses that advertised so we made our cost so they could advertise and it not cost an arm and a leg. I am not sure how the clubs run their newsletters here but you can go to www.momsclub.org and find the 2 MOMS Clubs in Parker (one is on the east side of Parker Rd the other is on the west side) and get their contact information and let them know you are interested in advertising and someone form the club will be able to help you out. There is also a MOMS Club on South Aurora and North Aurora (the north aurora does not do paper newsletters).

Hope this helps,

A. Austin (New to Aurora)
