Adult Sun Protection Clothing (Plus Size)

By now you can probably tell that I haven't had much need for sun protection until now, but, my doctor told me that I need to be extra precautious due to my health history.

Sunscreen isn't always a feasible option, because I don't always want to feel slimey and beachy. So, I was thinking that Rashguard type clothing might be the way to go.

Any suggestions on where to get it? Preferably not online, as I would like to try it on for fit and feel before buying it.

Thanks!

i'm sorry, i don't have any suggestions for you - but i have had great luck with the spray on sunscreens - we have a banana boat kids one (it's pink and white i think) spf like 50+, and it doesn't feel greasy. i have used it, and i used it on ds all the time and it works great. super convenient. just a thought.

I have the same problem due to health as well. I opt for the spray-on "sport" types of sunblock, they're made not to run and are not slimy, some actually go on so sheer I wonder if they are there ; )

Other than that hats, long sleeves and pants :( so I go with the sunblock.

I found a plain short sleeve t-shirt that had an SPF label, in the men's department. I can't remember if it was from a sports store like academy, or the sports department in another store like walmart.
Some of the suncreens that are designed to go on faces(like a foundation) seem less slimy to me. I also have a wide brimmed hat to protect my face (makes me feel like a park ranger).
