She is the BEST. She will do some tests if she thinks they're necessary to determine the cause of the weight. If your history doesn't suggest any problems though, she may not. She will MONITOR your health while you are on drugs and will help you lose weight. She is a great doctor and is very understanding. You will love her.

By the way, if Adipex is addictive and you call around asking for it, you won't be treated. Doctors and hospitals perceive this as an addict looking for a fix. Dr. Berutti won't necessarily put you on Adipex. She put me on one med and then changed it because she felt it was affecting my health. She will keep at it until you find a drug that works and won't hurt you. Also, I found that prescription drugs are MUCH CHEAPER than over the counter diet drugs.

Give Dr. Autrey a call. He is a OBGYN in Dallas and in Frisco. He is located off of 75 & Forest Lane at Medical City Dallas Hospital, and his second location is off of Coit and 121 at Centennial Medical City. Last time I knew Dr. Autrey did prescribe Adipex. Most Dr's probably won't perscribe it since it is a controlled substance. You can however go to Dr. Weight Control in Arlington or Dallas. You go every month for them to monitor your wight loss and the also put you on a diet to get you to you weight range. Here is the link to their site. Email me if you have questions. First off...don't listen to Roxana! I used adipex and had great success with it! I used it along with diet and exercise to help get that stubborn weight off that was just not coming off with only diet and exercise. Unfortunately, I was laid off and no longer have insurance so I can't afford to go to the doctor and get the adipex or I would be on it right now!! Good luck!

You may not want to hear this, but a snack of a morning and one in the afternoon,of apple, walnuts, almonds,etc. just a small handful , makes you not as hungry at a mealtime, and if you just eat a tiny bit smaller portions, not diet, and try to stay away from fast foods, take a walk around the block, or dance in the house to some music, I bet the 15 lb. will come off quicker than you think, and you won't be putting anything in your body that may have side effects. The pounds may come off a little slower, but then they stay off, and your body won't yo yo.
