My son will be 4 in march and loves all sports, t-ball is his favorite, I have been looking around on the web but everything I find like city leagues say age 5! Does anyone know if he is old enough at this time to play any sport he would really like too. Also my daughter will be 2 in april is there any kind of activites outside of the house she could do with a group of kids besides just her brother or family friends!? please help me with this. My husband and I are kinda clueless but would love to get ourselves and the kids more involved with activities with diferent children and parents than the ones we see daily.

What can I do next?

ASI Gymnastics is great. My son will be 4 in April and he absolutely loves it. We started him at The Little Gym when he was 14 mos. old and moved to ASI about 9 months ago.

Try your neighborhood YMCA. My son started soccer at 3 and many of the Y's have ballet classes/dance for young girls. It's a wonderful place to be involved daily.

Have you tried doing a Google search for "youth sports camps" in your area? When my son was 3 he was really into t-ball and I had the same problem as you. They don't start them out that young but I found a program through SkyHawks that had sports camps for kids as young as 3. It was a 6 week program but they offer the camps throughout the year. I'm not sure if there are any SkyHawks camps in your area though. Our city doesn't start kids off until 5 in T-Ball either so a Dad started up his own team for 4-5 year olds in our city. He was determined and commited to getting a youth team together and he pulled it off. Soccer & swimming are great. Both my kids started swimming and TaeKwon Do at age 3 so that's another option for you maybe? Does your daughter like ballet or dance? Maybe you can find a studio in your area.
Best of luck to you!

For your 2 year old you could look at baby gyms or swim classes. The baby gyms such as My Little Gym offer interaction with other kids in a fun, stimulating environment. They can be somewhat pricey.

My son has been in soccer since 4.
Our summer swim team in VA started them at 4.
My daughters both did dance and gymnastics, they started at 2 and 3.
Here TBall starts at 4 or 5 in the spring. Mine only started that last year, he was 8.
Karate, judo, taikwando those start kids very early.

Not sure where you are, but Texas Tae Kwon Do in Richardson near 75 and Campbell starts kids at 4, and Master Jason Lee is FANTASTIC with the kids! My son has been there since age 5 when we discovered it, and now is 8 1/2 and about 6months away from his black belt!

I believe the YMCA teams start at age 4 for t-ball. Also check into the rec center near you. They usually have sports classes for ages 3 and up and lots of activities for all ages. A "Mommy and Me" or "Daddy and Me" class is often for 18 months and up at the rec center.

The age limits do kinda suck...especially when you know your kid could handle it but never fear, there are tons of stuff available at that age...just not T-ball/baseball:(

Soccer! There are always soccer programs available for the lil' guys, here they are called "soccer tots".

Gymnastics! Call your local Gymnastics center and ask about programs. Both your kids should be old enough for that. Daughter might need to be in a "mommy and me" class but there are always tons of kids to socialize with while you are there.

Swimming! Swimming lessons are a MUST at our house (we have a pool), we do them every year through the Red Cross. Daughter might be in a "mommy and me" class but it will be fun.

Hope this helps!
