Accountant to Prepare 2007 Tax Return
I'm looking for recommendations for an accountant to prepare my husband and my 2007 tax returns. We'd prefer someone downtown or in the city. I don't think our return is that complicated; we just prefer professional advice and don't really have the time to do it ourselves.

If you don't have anything too complicated (nothing more than the usual itemizations and deductions) you could try one of the online tax services. We have used OnLine Taxes (olt.com)for several years with good results. Cost is about $8 and it walks you through each form. Super easy and fast.

We use Eilts and Associates. I am pretty particular about which CPA I use (both personal and for my own business) and have used a few others prior to using Eilts. I really like them, they are thorough and service oriented. They are located on the North Side so you don't have to go downtown which is nice...
