A. Teething Necklaces

I think my second son is going to be a difficult teether like his big brother was! When it takes 2-3 months for a tooth to come in, I can't give him Tylenol every night. Hylands teething tablets didn't work very well with my daughter, so I haven't yet tried them with the baby. Guess I could give them another shot... Anyway, I'm wondering what you Mamas can tell me about A. teething necklaces. Do they work? They seem too good to be true! The past couple of nights have been horrible, and I'd really like for us all to get some more sleep. Should I buy an A. necklace?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

I purchased a Baltic A. Teething Necklace from inspiredbyfinn.com and we love it! My husband even says it works, which is HUGE! He doesn't think much of alternative/natural "stuff." Anyway~the necklace is great and I highly recommend Inspired by Finn. You can find them on Facebook, too.

My sons would not take any kind of teething ring. But they would teeth on my t-shirts. So, I took my mothers advice and dipped a corner of a new cloth diaper in apple juice and froze it. They loved this. I also gave them teething biscuits and popsicles.

My husband thought I was going off the deep end when I told him I wanted an A. necklace for our daughter. The difference in when her first 2 came through (it was rough going and without the necklace) to when her next 4 came in (with the necklace) was astounding! And boy is he a believer now! There are so many benefits to A. and I wholeheartedly recommend them! I have several pieces of A. that I wear also, and I feel the benefits of wearing the A.!
I am such a believer that I carry it in my store. I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from my customers who have bought A..

Hi--
I don't know anything about A. teething necklaces, but I also had difficult teethers. There is a natural anti-inflammatory (It's also a natural anti-histamine) called quercetin that will help bring down the swelling and the pain with no side effects. You can get it at vitamin or natural health stores. There are even a couple of companies that make it in liquid form (I know for sure that Source Naturals is one of them). Quercetin is a bioflavonoid (sp?) found in onions--totally natural, very mild, and totally safe for baby to take. One note, though: It stains everything a bright yellow, so be careful when your'e administering it!!
Good luck!

My first son wore his and had zero problems teething that a few teething tablets couldn't solve. He struggled with his 2 year molars, but wasn't wearing his necklace anymore.

I now have it on his 6 month old brother. Don't know if it helped, could be coincidence? But, it might have. It's an easy thing to try.

I never doubt that these things have some validity. They've been around longer than I have! ;)

I mentioned the A. teething necklace to my hubby when our son started teething. He said it sounded like hocus pocus, so we didn't get it. Then after a terrible 2 weeks stint of teething, we got it as nothing else helped. We both truly believe that it works. He is less cranky and drools much less when he wears it. And, everyone thinks it is some sort of fashion statement!!!

I highly recommend getting the necklace.
