A Nice Atmosphere on Mamapedia?

I asked a question and not one person chastised me. That's a 1st! I think we all need a little healing from the toxic uproar the country has been in lately. Or maybe it's just too hot to get our panties in a wad today.

That is so crazy you said something - I have been having a particularly good/happy day myself and I noticed I am enjoying mamapedia more than usual today. I couldn't tell if it was just me or if it was the atmosphere!

Mamapedia is having a great day today. I have heard that we are the nicest ones out there, compared to other mom-posting-question-sites.

Perhaps today one or two of the 'regulars' aren't on here, therefore keeping the day peaceful. :) Oh wait. Maybe everyone IS here. My mistake. I guess there's just no pot-stirring today. :)

I love this site. I've been on it for a few years and have found it to me mostly positive, helpful, resourceful. But it's a big site with lots of members ( I wonder how many?)... and there are times when the strength of people's responses are out of proportion for the situation. Usually then, it's about the persons and not the situation. I find most people on here wanting to be respectful and helpful rather than catty and high and mighty.

Now watch, someone will post a hot topic and all this will be blown to hell... haha!

Yeah, I notice on some random days it will just be a nice day for answers and questions. I'm glad today is one of them b/c I definitely needed some relax time from being outside for a few hours in the ridiculous heat :)

Lol Scarlett, doesn't it seem like when your in a good mood everyone is. Is it true or are we projecting? I'm in a good mood (made some good progress on a custom design playground) and it feels like everyone else is.

I agree. I was on another site briefly, but there was a lot of negativity, bashing, and crude language. Who needs that? I'll stick with the nice atmosphere of support and people who seem to care about one another.
