Hi! Just a quiz for y'all: How many of you had a gut feeling that you were pregnant and were right? AND, how many got this feeling and were wrong? I'm asking because I'm 3 or 4 dpo and I got this strong feeling that I'm pregnant starting last Friday. I'm hoping it's right!

And thank you in advance!

What can I do next?

With my third I knew before I had even missed a period. I just knew. With my first I had no idea and my dh and I were on the couch, he put his head on my belly and then said, "is there a baby in there?" I said, haha, you never know (we weren't trying to conceive or prevent at the time.) Well, it got me thinking and I took a test the next day and what do ya know, it was positive. We still can't believe he just knew like that since it was so early and there were no other signs. Good luck to you!!!

First time I just totally knew. Like immediately after, something inside of me went,"you're pregnant". I was a newlywed so I was a bit freaked out. I started telling my hubby that I was sure I was prego and he was like "no way!!". Lo and behold, a few weeks later, the stick turned blue :D With my second it was planned so I knew for sure bc unless something unexpected happened, we were together at the most fertile day so we would be getting pregs. After that, my compass was off though bc I had more emotion around it. But now I am pregs with #3 which was a surprise and I was trying to convince myself I wasn't pregnant, but deep down I think I knew I was, but prior to a late period I did not think so. So I am hoping with you that the little feeling is the preparation for being a mommy :D Good luck!

Lol- I'm horrible at this! I'm pretty much always wrong- there have been times when I thought I was pregnant and was wrong- and 4 times I was pregnant w/o realizing it!!

With my 1st pregnancy, my husband knew before I did!! He was convinced because I was eating things I don't normally eat. He looked straight at me and said, "you're pregnant". I just laughed and thought "no way" because I had all the same symptoms I always did before getting my period. He was so sure, he went out and bought a home pregnancy test. I took it pretty much to prove him wrong, and I nearly fell over when it was positive!

Some women seem to just know though- maybe you're one of them. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you-
Very best wishes !! :)

I was sure I was prego. Then I missed my period, so I took a test. Yup.

I've only been pregnant once but 2 weeks into it, I know I felt different. The first 2 weeks I had no idea. After 2 weeks, yes, my period was late (duh), but I also felt more "full" in my abdomen. A week after that I was starting to feel queasy in the mornings and still no period. We had been trying for several months and this was the first time I had felt anything like it (even before I would get late periods but it ended up being a false alarm). I was leaving for work and told DH about it and DH still wanted to wait to take the pregnancy test though because he thought it might too early! I proved him wrong by picking one up at the store and taking it that night!

Good luck to you, I hope you are right too!

I had "gut feelings" several times, and symptoms too. But no pregnancy. It was always the months I wasn't feeling prego that I was!

I had a gut feeling with both my kids that I was NOT pregnant until literally the day after my missed period. I was 100% sure I was getting my period both times, till I didn't! I was tracking my basal temp and charting when we were trying to conceive, so I had a hunch when my temp stayed high and I wasn't getting my period. But prior to that day of/after it was due, no clue at all. I felt exactly the same as my PMS symptoms. I think women are all different, so symptoms, or lack thereof, from woman to woman differ so much. Good luck to you!!

My period was not even due for a few more days and a few nights in a row I dreamed that I was pregnant or already had a little boy. I took a test on a whim because the dreams seemed so real....and I was pregnant :-)

Both times i thought i was prego but my first tests were negative. Found out that i did the test wrong so i got a false negative. They cant give a false positive. When i redid the test a wk or two later i got the positive result. To get an accurate reading: do first thing in morning, dont over saturate the test strip, and after your expected period date.

Some clues for me were increase appetite at breakfast ( not my norm), motion sickness, getting a bigger stomach, and craving chinesse food alot.

My first baby I had no idea; I had a negative pregnancy test and then went to the doctor a month later because I thought I had irritable bowel syndrome or some other stomach issue (my daughter was a surprise :-). My second baby was a surprise as well, but this time I had that feeling. Even six years later, I still remember the moment that I saw my coffee cup and had this extremely strong feeling that I shouldn't drink it. With my extreme coffee addiction, I knew that there was something going on if I didn't want to drink my coffee, so I had the feeling I was probably pregnant (I hadn't missed a period yet). I took a pregnancy test and sure enough, baby number two was on the way.

Silly but true. :-) I hope you're right, too; I'm crossing my fingers for you!

Mine was a COMPLETE gut feeling! I had no other reasons to believe it, but for some reason I was sitting there one night and was just like "I think I'm pregnant." We weren't trying and I was on birth control, plus I took the Plan B pill and was still convinced that I was pregnant. I took a test the morning that my period was supposed to start and it came back positive. I tell everyone now that God REALLY wanted me to have this baby because he overcome a lot of odds and is here now happy and healthy :)

I will say that I think what contributed to the gut feeling was that I was a heavy smoker when I became pregnant and the night that I got that feeling, it was while smoking a cigarette and finding that it didn't taste right anymore. I guess it was the baby's way of saying that I needed to stop smoking.

I had a gut feeling I was pregnant when first trying to conceive, and I was wrong. My period was even four weeks late, and I was adamant I had to be pregnant. I wasn't, and I was bummed. It did happen for me two months later.
