A Good Hair Cut, Please!

Does anyone know of a good stylist somewhat near 83rd and nall? I moved here in July, and haven't found one yet! (My hair is on the short side of 5 bad cuts in a row, and I can't risk another one, or I might end up bald!)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks to everyone who replied about where I can find a good haircut! It is very reassuring to see so many people who are pleased with their stylists, especially after being disappointed with so many haircuts in a row! I can't wait to go get my new do!

Try Jennifer Mills at International Hair and Day Spa. They are located at 80th and Metcalf in Overland Park. Her phone number is ###-###-####. I have gone to her for almost five years and she does a great job. Good luck!

Kenzie at Dino's.....107th and Roe is wonderful! She is great with all cuts, especially short ones. She is the mom of a 5 year old son and pregnant! Tell her D. referred you.

You need a trip to the Country Club Plaza! It is a little ways from you but it sounds like you could use the time alone. ( : I go to Beauty Brands and my hairdresser is Janie. She is awsome & I am very picky! Forget the Aveda salons! I get much better service at Beauty Brands and their prices can't be beat. Only $28 for a haircut. Afterwards you can always go shopping! one of my best friends is a stylist at chop tops. It is at merriam lane and johnson drive. I am super picky about my hair and totally trust her. The place has sort of a rockabilly theme so dont let that scare you off. Her name is Sarah W. the # is 362chop. Very cheap too. I think its like 30 for a cut.

I have always been very nervous about getting my hair cut and would usually just trim it myself since I did not trust anyone else to do it! I finally found Nicole at Beauty Brands on State Line & 135th St. It may be a bit of a drive for you but she is SO good. Not the typical young hair stylist you may expect at a place like that. The hours are very flexible and she grew up with three generations of stylists. Most of her childhood was in the salon. She has a BA in Psychology and practiced for a few years but quickly was burnt out. She LOVES being a hairstylist and you can tell by her talent. I made the mistake once of not waiting until she worked and I lost 8 inches of my hair and was left with something a 4 year old might do! I was devastated! I immediately called the manager and they had Nicole do it for free! She fixed it so that I LOVED the short do and I have had so many compliments about it. People say they love my hair short better than long. She is good. That is all I can say.

There is a place about 95th and Nall called Alquemie Salon. It's right next to Sushi Gin. They use Aveda products (which I just love and are good for the envioronment)!
I drive all the way from Brookside just to go there! My stylist name is Yelonda and she is great!

Hi B.,
I just got a great haircut from Misha Krupnik at Salon 95 (my first visit to him)and he is very convenient to where you are (Salon 95 is at 95th and Nall). I have long hair, but he did a great job.

My hair dresser is amazing! I looked for a very long time and I am extremely picky when it comes to my mane. Sarah at Shay Belle on Shawnee Mission Parkway and Hilltop is Awesome! I leave there every time LOVING my results! It may be a bit of a drive but worth it. It is close to K-7 off Shawnee Mission Parkway
give me a call I can give you directions

Sometimes ya gotta travel to get what you want. I really like Christin Rivera, at Salon Mir. However, she's on Gregory, just barely east of Wornall. She's both a phenomenal stylist and a wonderful person. Plus she throws hellacious halloween parties every year! Her number is ###-###-####. She does all her own booking, and it may take her a couple of days to call you back.

try Audra at All About Hair - Windmill Square near 97th and Metcalf
