8 Weeks Prego and Don't Feel Prego!
I'm 8 weeks along right now and I don't feel like I'm prego @ all aside from the fact that I'm always tired. I'm just curious if there are othe ladies that have gone through this as well. Also, for the last couple of weeks I've been spotting. I've heard it's normal, but would like to know if it has happened to others out there as well! I like to be reassured that other people do experience the same things! Thanks ladies! :)

I spotted too and it was scary (first pregnancy). It was all fine in the end and I have a beautiful 2 year old girl. Don't worry..enjoy the pregnancy.

I am 12 weeks pregnant today and I just got done saying the same thing to some of my friends and husband. I have 2 daughters and I really never felt "pregnant" until the clothes started to not fit and the baby started to move. I think that is a totally normal feeling. If it wasn't for the doctor, the blood test, ultra sound, and positive pregnancy test I wouldn't even know. Oh, and the morning sickness. Hang in there and before long you will feel it.

i didn't feel pregnant either...IT WAS WONDERFUL! just put your feet up and make up false ailments for the next 6 months :) The only thing i experienced in the first trimester was being extremely tired (which my husband didn't understnad) and I would have a wave of nausea that lasted about 30 sec every night.

I didn't feel pregnant either. I hardly had any morning sickness. I would gag when I brushed my teeth but other than that I was not sick. You are too early in your pregnancy to be feeling fluttering so don't worry. I'll be willing to bet that you are having a boy. Most women that are having girls say that they are so sick. I think it is from too much estrogen in their bodies. The one thing that I do remember is that I could smell every odor and it was amplified by a thousand. I even smelled cigarette smoke when I was in my car one day and looked around and the guy in front of me was smoking. (My windows were up and my A/C was off)

Congratulations on being pregnant again! I am pregnant right now with my second baby and I didn't feel like it either at first. I didn't have any of the symptoms that told me I was pregnant the first time. I think each time is just different. I started feeling more pregnant after a few weeks of finding out...that's when the nausea set in. As far as the spotting...my sister went through the same thing. She ended up having a cyst on her ovary, but apparently it's not a big deal. The spotting supposedly came from the cyst. My sister is actually 14 weeks pregnant right now and doing fine. She's had a couple of ultrasounds already (she's considered high risk for other reasons) and the baby is doing great! So the things you're going through sound normal to me. But, at the same time, I would go to the doctor and have the spotting checked out just to be safe. Good luck, I hope your pregnancy goes well!

My last child I did not know until I was 10 weeks along. I spotted too and was in denial. I would say by that 10th week I definatly started feeling pregnant. I began showing and the nausea started.
If your really concerned i would contact your doctor.

When I carried my 1st child,I did not feel like I was "prego" either. I also spotted for the first 3 months. I just did not feel like I was carring a child until I started to show and feel the baby kicking. So, don't worry too much about it and be sure your Dr. My second pregancy, was a different story because I ended up with twins, and started showing at 2 months.
Good Luck!

Hi L.
I'm not really sure how to advise, but just make sure your OB is aware of the spotting. Have you had an appt yet? Two months into pregnancy you should be getting checked if you haven't yet. It is concerning that you don't "feel prego". Please make sure you talk with your OB.

First let me say by congratulations on the little one on the way! I hope you have a easy and wonderful pregnancy. I did not feel pregnant at first, minus throwing up during months 3 and 4. I had a very easy pregnancy. I did have some light spotting in the beginning, but the dr said that was normal. If you have heavy bleeding I would check with your doctor. Hope all goes wonderfully!

My first and second pregnancies felt totally different. My first one, I "felt" pregnant; my second one, I didn't. I've never had spotting with either one, though. I'm not sure what could be done this early if something's wrong -- you may want to talk to your midwife or doctor about it.
