7 Year Old Twins Birthday Gift?

Video games. Now before everyone jumps on me for suggesting you get the kids a video system let me explain.....Many of the new systems have interactive games and learning games. And I see nothing wrong with the family getting together to play a game of bowling or golf on a Saturday night. Or doing a few exercises. Or a game that teaches the kids to read or do math. Or helps them develop good memory skills. Not all games are blood and gore!

Someone got my 6 year old twins tickets to see a local show of Wizard of Oz and that was really cool.... But my kids also love getting Wii games that we can all play as a family. Just Dance III is a new Wii title and it is a load of fun. The kids play while I'm at work but when I get home, we have family dance offs!!! My boys and my 8 year old daughter love it! The new Kirby Wii game just came out too ($50) so that might be a good gift for them to split (depending on how much you want to spend). Gift cards are also good, but maybe not that "wow" factor. My sister in law got itunes gift cards for our boys b/c they just got a new computer....

It would be easier to give suggestions if you gave a price range. I would say not to think of it as a twin birthday. Buy a great gift for a 7 year old boy and a great gift for a 7 year old girl.
