7 Month Old Poop Smells like....bad Breath?? Halitosis.....

Just be glad that his breath doesn't smell like poop!! ;) Hee hee.

On a serious note, I wouldn't be too concerned just yet. I am sure it is food related. See how it goes over the next few days and if it continues, call your pediatrician. I remember my little guys poop smelled really awful when I started giving him solids!!

If you are feeding solids yet, that may be it, especially if you are trying meats.

There's always a change in smell when you start giving people food to babies instead of milk/formula. Or like Diane said, something you ate if you're nursing.

Hi---So, what has he/she been eating that might be different, or if you are breastfeeding, any new foods for you? I don't know for sure, but my bet is that what the poo smells like is mostly likely directly related to food.

Any fussiness or other changes in behavior? I would just monitor the situation and see if it continues or changes in any other way. Good luck. D.
