Is it time to introduce Meats yet?
Any suggestions. We are still feeding him his enfamil A+plus, as well as the X20....

Hi A.,
I waited a little bit longer for the meat. Mine is almost 10 months. Her ped. advised a little later around 8 months. Have you tried fruits yet? Do what you feel is right for your little guy. I did try once with the chicken when she was about 7 months and she did not like it,lol. It sounds like you are starting out just fine. Mine will be 10 months in a few days and she is eating stage three. She no longer cares for puree foods. Go with your mommy instincts and if you are truly unsure just ask your pediatrician, though I have read the greatest stuff in this mommy community!!

I would start adding in fruits. You have the veggies and whole grains covered and fruits are all that is missing for now. I would wait on the meats until he is a little older because his digestive system might not be ready. We stuck to the stages on the baby food jars.

my little one was eating cereals at 4mos fruits and vegies by 5mos and i started meats at about 6mos. my little girls dr suggested to get th meats that are mixed with some thing like the chicken noodle instead of the plain chicken (and i nw know why it smells like cat food so it must taste bad lol) if you think hes ready to try it buy a few jars and fed it to him. its totally up to you if you start it now or wait till hes a little older.
