I went through the same thing with my son but it was bath time. I also am a stay at home mom with a 1 yr old. It is hard because we are around them all the time. I notice my son still perfers me to hold him and when he cries my husband will pick him up and he will get worse until I take him. My suggestion would be to let him keep feeding him and if he cries then he cries (thats the hard part). Once he realizes he is not going to get what he wants he will eat. Maybe what you could do is have him feed him only his favorite foods. I know it can be tough when you are a stay at home mom because you are there for everything. I find myself taking over when my husband does things, because I like it done a certain way. Our son can tell and I think that has a lot to do with him not wanting to spend much time with him. That was then and this is now. He baths him everyother night and will help change diapers when he is home. The hard part now for him is brushing his teeth. Good luck and remember to have on your tough skin.

I wouldn't worry about it. He can try but don't push it too much. It's normal for kids to go through stages where they just want one parent and not the other. All my kids did this. In another 6 months he'll probably want daddy to do >everything< and protest loudly when you try to do it. It's normal development.

Babies are really fussy about routine and familiarity. You could try showing daddy the way you feed the baby. You know weither you change the diper frst or set him in the chair before mixing the food. Daddy can try silly sounds and the famous choo-choo or airplane. Or even you give a spoonfull then daddy gives a spoonfull then daddy gives more and you just sit and watch. You could even see if dddy is too slow with the spoon, I know my girl gets fussy if I take too long. I wish you all the best.
